Pre- and Post-Congress Tours will require a minimum uptake of 15 participants. Please send registration form(s) to “Interklassik” by 15 August 2005. Interklassik will confirm your booking in writing, provide you with an invoice and request that the invoice be paid prior to the tour. Refunds will only be provided if the tour is cancelled by the organizer.

Schwerin – The Pearl Reflected in Lakes

The capital of Mecklenburg - West Pomerania is characterised by the lavish abundance of water and wood, cultural treasures rich in tradition and its fascinating architecture. The chateau of Schwerin is situated on an island and is the town´s unique emblem with its golden towers. The chateaux and gardens outside the town are also worth a visit. Enter the century when the duke strolled through the English garden and rested in the shade of the rock grotto. This journey to the past includes among other things a tour guided by Luther through Erfurt and an outing to Eisenach including a visit to the castle Wartburg and the Bach Museum where you can enjoy a concert performed on historical instruments of Bach.

Maybe Leipzig will impress you too and you will come back! On this tour you can get to know Leipzig on a guided tour, climb the Battle of Nations Memorial and visit one of the most beautiful parks in the area.

Munich incl. Neuschwanstein – Rotenburg ob der Tauber – Heidelberg – Frankfurt
am Main

Munich with its varied historical architectural styles will be the first stop on this round trip of southern Germany. From Munich, on day two, a day excursion to the romantic castle of Neuschwanstein has been arranged. Neuschwanstein was rebuilt in the authentic style of an ancient royal castle for Ludwig II, King of Bavaria (1864 – 1886). On the third day the excursion moves on to the city of Heidelberg via Rothenburg. Heidelberg, widely recognised for its humanistic traditions, was Europe’s third university after Prague and Vienna. From Heidelberg the tour moves on to its last destination, Frankfurt am Main. There is no tour planned in Frankfurt, participants may therefore make their own plans and then travel on from there privately.
